Shakuhachi is one of Japanese traditional musical instruments. Henzan Mei Shakuhachi is made of Japanese bamboo by hand work only. It is made by a Shakuhachi player and is proud of its timbre. We would like to let foreign customers hear the good sound of Henzan Mei Shakuhachi. It will be your valuable choice.

The purchasing conditions from overseas are different from those of domestic orders. Please check the condition before making an order.

1. Products for foreign sale
   Applicable to Shakuhachi product series.
   * Custom made products, Shakuhachi, its repair or stainless ring are not applicable to overseas sales.
2. Methods for making an order
   Order can be made in English in an ordering window.
   * Please avoid orders by telephone or by fax.
3. Please select one of the following 2 payment methods.
   • Payment by internet remittance service PayPal.
     Payment can be made by PayPal. There is 5% additional fee for payment by PayPal.
     Total amount to be paid is the sum of product price + PayPal fee (5% of product price) + shipping rate.
   • Payment by bank transfer.
     Please pay by Japanese yen to the designated bank account.
     Total amount to be paid is the sum of product price + flat fee(1,500 yen) + shipping rate.
     * The bank fee is to be paid by customer.
   The total remitted amount by PayPal or bank transfer will be informed by e-mail.
   Please check the sum to be paid and make payment in 5 days.
4. Method for shipping abroad
   The product is shipped by EMS (express mail service) upon payment being confirmed.
   Please check the EMS information page for shipping rate.
   Notice) This workshop is not liable to a forwarded product due to differences in mail service system of each country and lost of the product during delivery. The customer needs to respond accidents occurred during delivery.
5. Customs procedure
   There is a case to pay for customs duties when the product has arrived.
   Please understand that the fee for customs procedure is to be paid by a customer.
   The customs procedure is different for each country and detailed questions for the procedure should be addressed to the competent customs service.
6. Please note that attached service manual including warranty information sheet is written in Japanese.
7. Defective products or repairs are handled in the same way with those in Japan.
   However, the accompanying international shipping rate is to be paid by a customer.
8. Refund
   Please contact the customer service by mail within 8 days after the arrival of the product. We will check the refunded product and make a full refund.
   If it is refunded due to customer side cause, only the product price will be refunded.
   The international shipping rate and bank fee are to be paid by a customer,
   so the international shipping rate and bank fee will be deducted from the product price.
